*   The ARC minimizes room modes and other resonances:

Room modes are anywhere where parallel surfaces (like in almost any room) create one or more pronounced resonance peaks. These resonances superimpose themselves  on the actual music resulting in boominess and poor low-mid frequency definition. With FM ACOUSTICS new ARC circuits - all done in pure analogue technology - such resonances can be eliminated.

The result:  a much ameliorated reproduction in   any    listening environment. 

The ARC is also helpful when there are resonances from other sources in the room (e.g. air conditioning or any other resonating surface or room component).
