The FM 1811-MKII drives any speaker to a performance level that could never have been imagined. To be able to fully deliver its promise the FM 1811-MKII requires a high-level, ultra low-impedance
mains supply to deliver its promise. A dedicated supply that can provide a minimum of 125A peak / 25A cont. at 120V (or 60A peak / 12.5A cont. at 230V) with absolute stability is
mandatory.
Specifications are often misused, misunderstood or utilized only to sell a product instead of indicating its actual performance capabilities. “Typical” specifications do not tell much about the true value of a certain component. Only guaranteed minimum data - as specified for all FM ACOUSTICS products - together with carefully controlled listening tests will provide accurate and useful information. These distinctions must be observed when comparing to other specifications.
